We’re looking for an IT Engineer who is equal parts troubleshooter, automation-builder, and AI experimenter. You’ll spend roughly half your time eliminating day-to-day friction by building AI Agents, and the other half fabricating AI solutions for internal teams. This is not a traditional IT role; it’s a proactive, innovation-focused role that turns IT into a true business-enablement engine.
In this role, you’ll develop solutions using low-code and vibe-coding tools, deploying GPT-powered agents, and mining operational data for the next efficiency win.
Deliver outstanding support—always hunting for the root cause, not a band-aid fix
Build, test, and maintain automations and data integrations that cut manual work and boost reliability
Design and deploy AI agents and copilots (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) that embed in Slack, ticketing tools, or custom UIs to assist both IT and business teams
Analyze support-desk data to spot patterns, quantify friction, and prioritize the next automation opportunities—then own delivery from ideation to production
Partner with Ops, Finance, RevOps, Product, and other teams to map their processes and rapidly prototype tech-enabled solutions
Evangelize automation and AI: Run internal demos, share wins, and cultivate a self-service, “automate-first” company-wide culture
Maintain a living library of knowledge-base articles, self-service flows, and function library so users can solve common requests without waiting in line
Stay on the cutting edge of SaaS, security, and AI trends; present quarterly “what’s next” briefings to IT leadership and stakeholders
3–6 years in a blended IT operations, automation, and engineering role, in a high-growth SaaS environment, a plus
Hands-on experience building low-code, vibe-coding, and actual coding
Scripting chops in TypeScript, Python, or Ruby; comfortable with REST/GraphQL APIs
Proven ability to translate messy business processes into clean flowcharts and working automations, fast
Deep curiosity, and a “can solve anything” mindset, and a bias for action; you ship MVPs in days, not months
An affinity towards new and experimental technologies
Exceptional communication skills—you can adapt style and content to different audiences
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Ability to work in our NYC office at least 3 days a week
Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture
*Please note that we are unable to sponsor applicants for work visas
Unfortunately we cannot consider applicants from the following states: Colorado, California, Montana, Hawaii, New Mexico and Puerto Rico.
