Legal Specialist

📋 Description

• Manage and advance litigation matters, tracking status, deadlines, and next steps
• Collaborate with Senior Legal Operations Specialist to prepare case files and records
• Work with outside counsel to gather materials and advance cases through lifecycle
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Servicing to collect information for legal matters
• Draft and review routine legal correspondence and matter-related documents
• Utilize Lendbuzz proprietary tools and cloud platforms in daily data workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years paralegal/legal specialist in corporate legal/compliance or 2+ years auto titles/titles processing/loan servicing
• Exposure to litigation lifecycle, legal operations, or digital matter management systems
• Direct experience in auto lending, consumer finance, asset recovery, or high-volume collections litigation is a plus
• Detail-oriented self-starter; able to work independently in remote or hybrid environment while staying aligned with priorities
• Clear and professional written/verbal communication with internal teams and outside counsel
• Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal Certificate (ABA) a plus
