Legal Ops Manager

📋 Description

• Build and own Ashby’s legal operations function (systems, processes, tooling).
• Bring commercial contracting in-house to reduce external counsel reliance.
• Lead evaluation and management of contract workflows/CLM.
• Partner with Sales/RevOps to rollout contract tooling and enablement.
• Design centralized legal intake (inbox/ticketing) for visibility.
• Identify AI opportunities to optimize legal workflows and internal AI usage.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in legal operations; 2+ years in high-growth tech; built scalable infra.
• Experience evaluating, implementing, and managing legal tech (CLM, workflow, ticketing).
• Experience evaluating, implementing and experimenting with AI tools in legal/operational workflows.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracting workflows and GTM needs.
• Cross-functional experience with Sales, RevOps, Security, Product, or Finance.
• Highly organized with strong PM skills; drive multiple initiatives and bring structure to ambiguity.
