Legal Counsel - Data Privacy

📋 Description

• First point of contact for data protection queries from legal, HR, and marketing.
• Lead Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and other privacy risk assessments.
• Identify and mitigate privacy risks by evaluating laws and guiding the business.
• Manage employee data subject rights requests (DSARs) and related communications.
• Review and update privacy policies, notices, and SOPs; maintain Product Privacy datasheets.
• Collaborate with Global Privacy Office, Legal, HR, Marketing and Purchasing; escalate as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with expert knowledge of GDPR and data protection laws.
• Proven ability to provide pragmatic, timely and actionable advice.
• Hands-on ability to apply data protection law to business processes.
• Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working in a global company across multiple functions.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional European languages helpful.
