Here’s an incredible opportunity to be a Tech Lead for a team of 6 engineers. In this role you’ll be a driving force behind the elegant, scalable solutions that make a measurable improvement on the lives of patients and healthcare workers alike. You will also have the opportunity to be a people manager, though this is not required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Empower and inspire a team of engineers, mentoring their growth and fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
  • Drive the technical vision of your module, ensuring high code quality, robust testing, and comprehensive documentation
  • Champion technical excellence through design reviews, test coverage, optimization, and proactive tech debt reduction
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to transform ideas into reality
  • Be a hands-on contributor, writing code across the stack
  • WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 7+ years of experience building and deploying production-ready RESTful web services in cloud environments (AWS or GCP)
  • A "get things done" attitude fueled by curiosity, passion, and a knack for creative problem-solving
  • Expertise in a backend language (Java or Python), a frontend language (JavaScript or TypeScript), and relational databases (MySQL)
  • Strong system design expertise and a passion for building scalable, maintainable code
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Experience building healthcare products
  • Deep familiarity with AWS technologies
  • Exposure to a frontend frameworks like Angular or React
  • Two-way data integrations with third party sources of truth

  • The offered base salary will reflect careful consideration of a number of factors, including your location, skills and qualifications, prior relevant experience, internal equity and market conditions. This range may be modified in the future.
