Lead Test Engineer, Power Generation

📋 Description

• Lead turbomachinery test strategy from development to production acceptance.
• Design, build, and maintain test rigs for turbomachinery and cooling systems.
• Establish operating procedures, safety controls, and facility readiness for high-energy tests.
• Own test site from ground up; drive vibration, thermal, and reliability tests.
• Define test objectives, instrumentation strategies, and data requirements.
• Lead root cause investigations and drive corrective actions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent.
• 8+ years in testing, development, or validation of turbomachinery or rotating equipment.
• Hands-on experience testing high-speed rotating machinery and high-temperature hardware.
• Strong rotordynamics, vibration, and bearing knowledge for hardware testing.
• Experience correlating test results with analytical predictions and design intent.
• Demonstrated technical leadership driving complex test efforts to completion.
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
