Lead Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering and operations to map configuration data for Terran R.
• Build and optimize pipelines to ingest, clean, and normalize configuration data from silos.
• Lead development of high performance REST APIs using Python and FastAPI to expose this data.
• Guide development of lightweight web interfaces and Jamstack frontends for data exploration.
• Partner with test and systems engineering to rapidly generate updated configurations for validation and deployment.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software development with Python and FastAPI, using Pydantic/JSON Schema.
• Relational database design expert, manage complex schemas and dependencies.
• Proven RESTful APIs experience serving as a high integrity source of truth.
• 1+ years leading or mentoring engineering teams, including sprints and code reviews.
• Thrives in high velocity environments with rapid data changes while preserving data integrity under deadlines.
• Nice to have: Aerospace or PLM domain knowledge.
