Lead - PoC Data Science

📋 Description

• Lead and develop IC data scientists — set direction, unblock work, 1:1s.
• Own POC/POV delivery — partner with enterprise customers to show fraud ROI.
• Stay hands-on — build/review ML models and ship production-grade solutions.
• Define and track performance metrics — dashboards to measure risk impact.
• Translate client problems into data solutions — senior fraud contact.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and GTM to scale.

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10 years in fraud/risk data science with impact in fraud/payments/fintech.
• 2–3 years in people leadership (team lead/manager) with direct reports.
• Strong hands-on skills — Python and SQL essential; Spark or Kafka a plus.
• Experience delivering POC/POV engagements with measurable outcomes.
• Proven ML track record in fraud/risk — anomaly detection, classification.
• BI/dashboarding expertise — Sigma, Tableau, Metabase or equivalent.
