Lead the mechanical design of Mill Food Recycler.
Focus on energy efficiency, reliability, size optimization, and UX.
Collaborate with electrical, systems, firmware, industrial design, PM, and BD teams.
Develop grinding, heating, condensing, and emptying mechanisms via proofs of concept and simulations.
Engineer parts and systems for scale with cost, consolidation, ease of assembly, and repairability.
Drive testing and validation across thermal, mechanical, durability, and safety dimensions.

🎯 Requirements

BS degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
7+ years in mechanical product design for complex systems; home and industrial appliances preferred
Strong knowledge of mechanisms, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics
CAD modeling expertise; NX experience preferred
Plastics and metal part manufacturing: die casting, sheet metal, CNC, plating
DFM, DFA, tolerance analysis, GD&T
Simulations (FEA, thermal, CFD) and rapid prototyping
