Lead Industrial Designer, Robotics

📋 Description

• Define and evolve visual identity and form language for robotic products.
• Create sketches, renderings, and prototypes to communicate design intent.
• Develop production-intent surface geometry for CAD workflows.
• Partner with product/engineering/leadership to translate goals into designs.
• Drive design decisions across the lifecycle balancing aesthetics and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to preserve design intent through development.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience designing consumer electronics, robotics, or advanced hardware.
• Strong portfolio in industrial design and physical product execution.
• Experience creating CAD geometry or production-intent assets for engineers.
• Proficiency with Alias, NX, Rhino, Blender, Gravity Sketch, or equivalent.
• Experience working with hardware engineering from concept to manufacturing.
• Ability to translate product goals into production-ready designs.
