- Design and optimize multi-DB clusters (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, ClickHouse).
- Build automation and tooling for provisioning, monitoring, and self-healing of managed DBs.
- Collaborate with product/platform teams to enforce SLAs and review system design.
- Instrument and tune queries, indexing, and storage for sub-second latency.
- Govern backup/restore, DR, security, and compliance across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ Years of overall experience
- Experience in designing, operating, and troubleshooting production database deployments.
- Extensive experience configuring and tuning large-scale managed databases with TB–PB data volumes.
- Hands-on with at least three of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, ClickHouse; data modeling and indexing.
- Proven mastery of a programming language with clean, testable code.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems (CAP, consistency, consensus) and observability.
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform/Ansible) for DB automation.
- Solid SQL fundamentals; experience with relational engines is a plus.
