📋 Description

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: mentor a two-person Contract Specialists team.
• Advanced Negotiation & Drafting: draft/negotiate vendor and customer contracts (SaaS, services, licenses).
• Privacy & Risk Management: apply FERPA/COPPA and privacy laws in negotiations.
• Legal Operations & CLM: own the Contract Lifecycle Management system, ensure data integrity and adoption.
• Metric Reporting & Strategy: develop reports to track contract velocity and risk for leadership.
• Procurement & Sales Support: be the primary legal contact for procurement and sales teams, reduce friction.
• Strategic Project Execution: design scalable processes to elevate legal support.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Pacific Time zone strongly preferred.
• 8+ years as a contract manager in tech.
• Strong people management and mentoring experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented with process improvement.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• SaaS business model and revenue recognition knowledge.
• K-12 EdTech ecosystem understanding.
• Motivated to impact education through contract leadership.
