Lead AI Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and build AI foundation at Moxie; production-grade agentic AI.
• Design and ship agentic AI powering customer workflows and tools.
• Collaborate with CPO/PM and engineers to production systems.
• Establish AI standards, patterns, and architecture for future engineers.
• Own end-to-end delivery: design, deployment, monitoring, iteration.
• Create evaluation practices to measure and improve AI quality.
• Integrate AI deeply into the platform with security and cost awareness.
• Nice to have: regulated domains experience; data pipelines for AI eval.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building and scaling complex software with production ownership.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
• Expertise in agentic system design: tool use, orchestration, memory, guardrails.
• Strong fundamentals: system design, APIs, data modeling, testing.
• End-to-end ownership from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Ability to partner with senior leaders and communicate tradeoffs.
• Nice to have: experience in regulated domains (healthcare/fintech).
• Nice to have: data pipelines and analytics for AI evaluation.
