Laser Weld Specialist I

📋 Description

• Perform laser welding on Terran‑R flight and development hardware.
• Collaborate with Weld Engineers to develop and improve welding processes.
• Aid weld parameter and schedule development, including subscale welding.
• Weld prep/clean-up and setup/maintenance of laser systems.
• Follow AWS D17.1, GD&T, and NDE requirements for welds.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years hands-on laser welding experience (aerospace preferred).
• Proficient in GD&T and interpreting blueprints.
• Familiar with laser welding equipment, safety requirements, and PPE.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Experience with robotic welding toolpaths; Kuka or Fanuc a plus.
