Laser Weld Specialist I

📋 Description

• Perform laser welding on Terran-R flight and development hardware.
• Execute welding processes per AWS D17.1 requirements.
• Collaborate with Weld Engineers to improve laser welding processes.
• Support process development, production welding, and qualification activities.
• Support onboarding of new laser weld equipment, tooling, and processes.
• Address weld issues and contribute to process optimization.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years hands-on laser welding experience (aerospace a plus).
• AWS D17.1 knowledge and safety compliance.
• Ability to develop weld parameters and schedules.
• GD&T proficiency and blueprint interpretation; NDE basics.
• Familiar with laser welding equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Kuka/Fanuc robotics experience a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
