- Perform high-accuracy dimensional inspections using Verisurf and laser Trackers for large aerospace assemblies.
- Install, align, and calibrate complex production systems (e.g., welders, rails, inspection stations).
- Perform best-fit alignments, datum re-establishment, and profile analyses.
- Collaborate with Design/Manufacturing/Quality to optimize build strategies and inspection sequencing.
- Execute drilling, dowelling, epoxy pours, and leveling for anchoring and heavy tooling integration.
- Create detailed dimensional reports and maintain safety-compliant records in fast-paced environments.
🎯 Requirements
- 7+ years in laser trackers or metrology; 5+ years with Verisurf X.
- Proficient in GD&T, drawings/models, and model-based inspection workflows.
- Setup/calibration/troubleshooting of metrology equipment; strong manufacturing process understanding.
- Fixture installation, leveling, and alignment of complex tooling and structural components.
- Strong communication and problem-solving; proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- Travel up to 10% annually for site deployment and field alignment.
