  • Characterize spectra using optical spectrum analyzers.

🎯 Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD or advanced degree in EE, Physics, Photonics, or Optics.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor lasers and laser physics.
  • Familiar with LIV curves, threshold current, SMSR, RIN, and wavelength stability.
  • Hands-on experience with optical lab measurements and equipment.
  • Understanding of SOAs: gain, saturation, noise, and wavelength effects.
  • Python scripting for automation, data analysis, and visualization.
