📋 Description

  • Drive Lakebase revenue by activations in a defined territory with regional Account Executives and the broader account team.
  • Lead outcomes for Lakebase personas — platform teams, data teams, and central IT.
  • Sell fully-managed Postgres for operational workloads powering real-time AI experiences.
  • Run complex, multi-threaded sales cycles from discovery to close with stakeholders.
  • Orchestrate POC/VOE to validate Lakebase benefits for OLTP workloads, reverse ETL, and AI/ML apps with solution architects.
  • Compete and win against legacy and cloud-native databases using our assets and references.
  • Align to measurable business outcomes such as performance, productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, CS, and Partners to shape territory plans and co-selling motions.
  • Enable the field by sharing Lakebase best practices across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, consistently exceeding quota.
  • Proven success selling data platforms or operational databases to technical and business buyers.
  • Strong understanding of modern data architectures, cloud-native services, and AI/analytics.
  • Ability to sell to both technical stakeholders (devs/architects/data engineers) and business leaders.
  • Experience leading specialist/overlay motions with core Account Executives.
  • Executive presence for C-level conversations and architecture whiteboarding.
  • Strong value selling: uncover pain, build ROI, and tie tech to outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
