π― Requirements
- Education: MD/DO and/or PhD in genetics or related field.
- Board Certification: ABMGG in Clinical Cytogenetics/Molecular Genetics; ABP in Molecular Genetic Pathology, or equivalent.
- Licensure: CA lab director license as Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist or Clinical Cytogeneticist; eligible.
- NYS CLEP: Certificate of Qualification in Genetic Testing required; certification eligible.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a CLIA-certified clinical lab analyzing/interpreting genetic/genomic data.
- Regulatory Expertise: Deep knowledge of CAP, CLIA, CA and NY state regulations.
