How You’ll Contribute Conduct market research, identifying and qualifying vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor performance.Maintain the accuracy of all the tools and processes used in Vendor Management such as Linksquares, Oracle and ServiceNow. Conduct spend and deal analytics to facilitate technology negotiation processes during initial procurement and subsequent renewals, offering comprehensive insights into our expenditure.Work closely with our parent company and their sourcing team along with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, align sourcing objectives, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Strengths That Shine in This Role Sourcing Strategy DevelopmentDevelop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.Conduct market analysis to identify vendors, assess market trends, and inform sourcing decisions.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Business Development team to align strategies and build vendor/channel partnerships.ProcurementPartner with the Finance team to ensure a seamless end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to invoice processing in Oracle ERP.Manage RFI/RFP and competitive bidding processes, evaluate proposals, and negotiate contracts.Drive continuous improvement and innovation in procurement practices.Vendor ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and select vendors that meet quality, cost, and service requirements.Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.Conduct regular performance reviews and address escalations as needed.Cost OptimizationLead cost reduction initiatives and negotiate favorable terms with vendors.Analyze spend data to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.Monitor market trends to anticipate price changes and adjust strategies proactively.Contract ManagementDevelop, negotiate, and manage SLAs, KPIs, and contracts to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.Oversee the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations in the Contract Management System.Compliance and Risk ManagementCollaborate with the Security Risk Team to ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.Serve as the point of contact and subject matter expert for sourcing inquiries, facilitating communication between stakeholders and vendors. Skills That Matter in This Role Education requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Sourcing or related Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) is a plus.Work Experience Requirements:8 to 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management with preference towards IT procurementProven track record of developing and executing successful sourcing strategies in a medium to large-scale organizationExperience in managing supplier relationships and conducting complex negotiationsProven track record of delivering sourcing savings and value creationKey Skills and Abilities:Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and MS Excel for analysis and financial modeling.Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with business partners and strategic vendors.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.Strategic mindset with a focus on efficiency, simplification, and achieving results.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement best practices, including experience leading RFIs/RFPs, vendor negotiations, and contracting.
