Job Title: VP, Solutions - Pre-Sales - Healthcare
Pay Range: $250,000 - $350,000 plus $500,000-$650,000 Bonus
Job Type: Hybrid, Kizen office, 4 days per week (Office NoMad NYC Area).
At Kizen, we build technology that makes AI actually work for people.
Our platform helps organizations automate the workflows that matter most — from helping insurance agents manage contracting and commissions, to enabling healthcare providers to deliver proactive patient care, to empowering financial institutions to classify documents and extract data automatically.
And that’s just the beginning. With Kizen, developers can build new enterprise applications, while business users can customize dashboards and agents using AI, low-code, or code — all on the same platform. The possibilities are limited only by imagination.
What used to take months or years to build, configure, and connect now takes just days. Kizen combines powerful pre-built agents and use cases with an enterprise platform for automation and data connection — all built on an AI-first architecture that’s easy to adopt, scale, and trust.
We’re not chasing hype. We’re solving real operational problems and helping the world’s most complex organizations work faster, smarter, and more humanely.
Join us in transforming how industries work — one workflow, one agent, and one customer success story at a time.
About the RoleAs our VP, Solutions Pre-Sales, you’ll serve as both a strategic advisor and technical and business process problem-solver, develop detailed business requirements, and build prototypes during all stages of the sales process. This role is ideal for someone who loves getting into the details and creating transformational impacts in large enterprises — understanding real business processes, rapidly iterating, and creating high-value solutions that scale. You’ll start by building — and grow into building a team.
This is an opportunity of a lifetime for someone who wants to be at the heart of the AI movement to better humanity. As the VP, Solutions (Pre-Sales), you’ll be working directly with our CEO, CTO, and the executive team to shape the future of Kizen and guide our customers on their AI journey.
What You’ll Be Doing- Personally designing and building working prototypes for new, high-potential use cases using the Kizen platform
- Leading business discovery and translating complex requirements into clear, actionable technical documentation
- Supporting demos and addressing technical solution questions in pre-sales cycles for both new and existing use cases
- Scoping and estimating solution architecture needs, integrations, and implementation effort across enterprise engagements
- Build and lead the Healthcare Implementation practice, setting vision, standards, and KPIs for successful project delivery.
- Acting as the bridge between sales, product, and implementation — owning technical conversations and planning that set the stage for successful hand-offs to the implementation team
- Building and scaling a Solutions team after demonstrating repeated success and understanding of the platform yourself (player/coach)
- Translate complex Healthcare processes (distribution, underwriting, claims, compliance) into streamlined workflows powered by SaaS technology.
- Continuously identifying opportunities for innovation, optimization, and integration across industries and verticals
- Developing clear pictures of the current state of the tech stack in large enterprises, helping them understand future state, and charting a clear course from today to where they want to be
- Working with large enterprises and architecting digital and process transformation - you must be able to build coalitions across diverse groups with different goals
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise consulting, solution architecture, and pre-sales engineering in a SaaS or tech-enabled services environment
- Strong consulting background — with a deep understanding of business processes, operations, and workflow optimization
- 4+ years in leadership roles (Director/VP) managing large-scale implementation or professional services teams.
- 4+ years in healthcare use-cases
- Expertise in process automation and improvement, with a focus on optimizing workflows across cross-functional teams.
- A natural talent for translating technical features into customer-centric benefits. Your writing is clear, approachable, and informative, making even the most complex topics digestible.
- Deep expertise in the healthcare industry, public and private practices
- Experience designing data models and integrations (APIs, ETL processes), particularly between systems like EMRs, CRMs, ERPs, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear business and technical requirements and translate them into prototypes or POCs
- Hands-on technology implementation skills (configuring, testing, iterating SaaS solutions)
- Strong enterprise sales acumen — with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and support long sales cycles
- Fast learner able to quickly ramp into new industries and use cases with confidence and curiosity
- Detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven — able to juggle multiple pre-sales engagements with clarity
- Executive presence with excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Proven experience managing or mentoring technical or solution-oriented teams
- Experience in regulated industries like healthcare, insurance, or financial services. Specifically, healthcare is what we want.
- Familiarity with low-code platforms
- Prior software engineering experience with solution architecture design experience
- Understanding of AI, ML, and automation concepts (we can teach this!)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern software development workflows
- Want to help solve the last mile delivery problem with AI and help all stakeholders significantly improve their experiences
- Love turning ambiguous problems into real, working systems
- Excel at navigating both technical detail and strategic business goals
- Enjoy building things from scratch and setting standards for others to follow
- Can roll up your sleeves to help a deal close and a client succeed — and inspire others to do the same
- Are energized by growth, experimentation, and fast-paced environments
- Want to be part of a company shaping the future of intelligent systems and enterprise platforms
