Job Summary

The Sr. Manager, Workplace Experience & Services is responsible for creating and maintaining anengaging, efficient, and safe workplace environment that supports employee productivity, well-being, andorganizational goals. This role provides strategic leadership across workplace experience programs,facilities operations, and safety initiatives, ensuring that employees have the resources, services, andenvironment they need to thrive. The Sr Manager oversees workplace services and vendor partnerships,leads safety and crisis management programs, and partners cross-functionally with IT, People & Culture,and Facilities to deliver seamless employee experiences. Acting as both a strategic leader andoperational driver, this role balances innovation with compliance to foster a workplace that is welcoming,resilient, and future-ready.

Thisrole is based in Portland and requires a regular presence at our global headquarters (minimum fourdays per week).

Essential Functions

  • Leads the Workplace Experience team to provide exceptional, seamless, &professional hospitality services to employees and guests.
  • Provides leadership to the Safety Committee, establishing priorities andensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Designs, implements, and continuously improves workplace safety andemergency preparedness programs, including hazard identification, riskassessment, incident response, evacuation procedures, and businesscontinuity planning.
  • Delivers training, communications, and resources to promote employeewell-being, regulatory compliance, and readiness for potential emergencies.
  • Partners with leadership and external stakeholders to monitor compliance,assess risks, and ensure effective response and recovery strategies.
  • Develops and executes the Workplace Experience strategy, aligning withcompany culture, employee engagement, and organizational goals.
  • Leads, coaches, and grows the Workplace Experience team; set annualdepartment goals and ensure alignment with broader company objectives.
  • Oversees systems, processes, and solutions that enhance the employeeexperience and workplace efficiency; recommend improvements toleadership.
  • Owns department budgets, spending, and forecasting; optimizes vendorcontracts and relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality services.
  • Partners with IT and cross-functional task forces to drive adoption andtraining for collaboration tools and workplace technology solutions.
  • Directs facility operations, vendor relationships (custodial, utilities, propertymanagement), and space planning to support a scalable, future-readyworkplace.
  • Handles permitting and oversees facility management and communicationsfor workplace events.
  • Conducts workspace space planning and leads the coordination withinternal teams to set up and move equipment as needed.
  • Collaborates with People & Culture to design an exceptional employeeonboarding experience, ensuring workplace services support a globallydistributed workforce.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Occupational Safety, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in a workplace experience and/or hospitality focused rolerequired.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity in the workplaceexperience and/or hospitality industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Hands-on experience managing safety programs, audits, and compliance (OSHA or equivalent),as well as emergency preparedness or crisis response plans.
  • Strong background in vendor management, budgeting, and contract oversight (e.g., custodial,utilities, property management, or office services providers).
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams, coaching staff, and building cross-functionalpartnerships with IT, People & Culture, Facilities, and senior leadership.
  • Experience managing space planning, move coordination, or hybrid/remote workplace services astrong plus.
  • Strong background and proven record of delivering premium hospitality services.

Base Salary:$112,500 - $120,000 yearlyThis range represents the low and high ends of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.
