Job Summary

The International Business Development Coordinator supports global business growth and distributor relations. Liaisons between distributors and Global HQ, this role manages issues and projects, assists with key distributor events, and provides project support for strategic business development initiatives.

Essential Functions

  • Serves as a point of contact for inquiries from existing APLA distributors, assessing needs, routing requests to the appropriate internal teams, and following up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitors distributor performance updates and shares relevant insights with leadership to support business decisions.
  • Develops, maintains, and optimizes distributor dashboards and project tracking tools to improve reporting accuracy and usability.
  • Coordinates event logistics such as venue selection, agenda development, and participant communication for two or more key global distributor events annually.
  • Tracks event budgets, manages vendor invoices, and prepares post-event reports on engagement and outcomes.
  • Manages ad hoc projects from initiation through completion, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and align with project objectives.
  • Provides stakeholder updates.
  • Serves as a liaison with HQ teams, sharing distributor feedback and market insights to support business alignment.
  • Documents workflows, develops process guides, and implements improvements to standardize global distributor business processes.
  • Conducts initial market research to support potential expansion opportunities.
  • Prepares onboarding documentation, coordinates kick-off meetings, and ensures completion of operational and compliance requirements for new distributor partners.
  • Upholds brand standards while assisting in the development of emerging markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of professional experience in international business, account management, project coordination, or related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and diverse teams across cultures.
  • PowerPoint or equivalent presentation software skills strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of global business practices and proven ability to work with internal and external teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Language proficiency in Spanish, Korean, or Thai preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while staying focused on results.
  • Open to flexible work hours to connect with global partners and occasional travel opportunities.

Travel -up to 10% of the time

Base Salary:$67,500- $75,400 yearlyThis range represents the low and high ends of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.
