Karat is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Interview Content) in India to help design and build the content systems that power our technical interview experiences. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable tooling for creating, storing, and delivering high-quality interview content to candidates and interviewers.
What you'll do
- Design and build backend services for interview content generation, storage, retrieval, and analysis.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and content teams to define requirements and deliver robust features.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability of interview content systems.
What we look for
- Strong background in software engineering with experience in content systems, data pipelines, or developer tooling.
- Proficiency in backend development and scalable systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
