Senior Content Solutions Engineer (Interview Content) – Karat

Location: Remote (India - Bangalore area). This is a remote-only role supporting Karat's interview content platform.

About the role

As a Senior Content Solutions Engineer, you will design, curate, and maintain high-quality interview content used in Karat's technical interviewing platform. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and customer teams to create rigorous interview questions, evaluation rubrics, and content standards that scale across multiple technologies and domains.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interview content, rubrics, and guidelines to ensure consistency and fairness in assessments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor content for customer needs and localization requirements.
• Review, update, and expand the content library; validate difficulty levels and scoring criteria.
• Contribute to content strategy and documentation, including best practices for remote interview content.
• Assist customers with content-related requests and provide expert guidance on content design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of content development, instructional design, or engineering-related content experience, preferably in technical assessments or hiring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
• Experience with technical interviewing processes and assessment design is a plus.
