Your Impact

This role will help shape Kajabi’s next generation data platform capabilities. Your work will enable:

  1. A trustworthy and scalable internal analytics platform that empowers teams across Kajabi.
  2. Production-grade analytics data for our customers, enriching the core Kajabi products.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in system design, distributed data engineering, and platform reliability.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable components of Kajabi’s data platform to support ingestion, transformation, observability, and analytics.
  • Develop and operate containerized services using Docker, and contribute to deployment workflows leveraging Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm.
  • Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform within AWS and other providers.
  • Build and scale ingestion pipelines using tools such as Airbyte, Rudderstack, and Kafka.
  • Develop data pipelines and modeling workflows in Snowflake with DBT, ensuring performance, reliability, and best practices.
  • Design and scale real-time analytics datasets in ClickHouse to support high-concurrency production workloads.
  • Build Python services and tooling to automate, orchestrate, and integrate data processing.
  • Contribute to CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
  • Use Datadog for monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • Partner closely with production engineering to ensure data platform infrastructure aligns with Kajabi’s broader engineering standards.
  • Apply strong data governance and data quality practices across pipelines and platform components.
  • Participate in planning and execution workflows; familiarity with Shape Up and/or Agile methodologies is a plus.
What You Bring
  • Strong software engineering foundation with experience owning and operating infrastructure in a production environment.
  • Proficient with SQL and Python.
  • Deep experience with Docker and containerization.
  • Experience deploying services using Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm.
  • Experience with Terraform for cloud resource provisioning.
  • Extensive AWS experience, including S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Glue.
  • Experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience building pipelines and transformations with DBT.
  • Experience with Airbyte, Rudderstack, Kafka, and ClickHouse.
  • Experience with Datadog for observability and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities for complex distributed systems.
  • Excellent written communication skills with clear, structured documentation abilities.
  • High level of organization and ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices.

Pay Range

At Kajabi we believe the workplace should be equitable, inclusive, and inspiring for every employee. In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for a bonus. Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.

$108,750 - $145,000 + bonus
