Junior U.S. Operations Specialist

📋 Description

• Manage ocean freight forwarding, import customs clearance, and trucking activities under guidance.
• Coordinate daily transportation for domestic and international shipments.
• Schedule and monitor ocean bookings, vessel schedules, and pickups/deliveries.
• Build and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and trucking providers.
• Ensure on-time, correct, undamaged, and cost-efficient shipments inbound/outbound.
• Maintain driver coverage and monitor carrier KPIs.

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Word and Excel; MS Office
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred (or equivalent)
