Junior Software Engineer - AI

📋 Description

• Build new and ongoing products and MCP framework with Agentic AI offerings.
• Focus on AI and MCP workflows atop SmartBear products.
• Validate the feasibility of new use cases from research ideas.
• Consider end-user product experience in system trade-offs.
• Perform code reviews across the front-to-back-end stack for quality.
• Deliver working code on-time and own post-production experience.
• Measure success and iterate on designs to improve product.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years TS with Python; Flask/FastAPI; interest in LLMs/agents (LangChain).
• Docker and AWS deployment experience; GitHub version control.
• HTTP/REST APIs, client/server, MCP; NoSQL or vector DBs a plus.
• Full-stack dev with TypeScript, Python, HTML/CSS; RESTful frontend.
• Able to complete tasks with features, bugs, and tests.
• Work from defined requirements; ask clarifying questions; handle ambiguity.
• Clear English communication.
