Junior Engineer, Bioreactors

📋 Description

• Assemble and maintain custom bioreactors for cell therapies.
• Source/modify parts for bioreactors (fittings, electronics, fluidics).
• Own pre-experiment setup: sterilization, autoclave workflows, sterile assembly.
• Develop repeatable build/assembly processes to reduce setup time.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues quickly (leaks, sensor drift, faults).
• Monitor sensors, pressure, weights, and media changes; respond to deviations.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in biomedical/mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience building hardware systems with precision.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; read manuals and schematics.
• Comfort across fluidics, sensors, electronics, and assemblies.
• Excellent organizational skills; maintain logs and SOPs.
• Pride in ownership; proactive in lab well-being.
