Junior Compliance Officer

📋 Description

• Own and deliver compliance monitoring – identify risks and remediation.
• Provide clear, actionable reporting – updates for senior management and the Board.
• Stay ahead of regulation – track FCA developments and translate into actions.
• Maintain and strengthen our control environment – review and improve policies.
• Partner across the business – build relationships and advise on compliance matters.
• Support customer outcomes – escalation point for complex cases (e.g. complaints, fraud).

🎯 Requirements

• Early in your compliance career (up to 3 years' experience)
• Strong academic candidate (numerate or legal degree)
• Exposure to compliance or controls in retail financial services
• Working knowledge of FCA Handbook requirements
• Practical understanding of Consumer Duty and good customer outcomes
• Strong judgement and risk assessment skills
