The Role:

Jump is offering a part-time (non-exempt), seasonal opportunity for a motivated team member to gain hands-on experience in ticketing and live event operations. As a Game Day Operations Specialist, you’ll work behind the scenes to support the Minnesota Timberwolves in their use of Jump’s ticketing and fan experience platform; helping deliver an exceptional experience for the team and fans alike. You’ll play a key role on game days, gaining valuable exposure to professional sports operations. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who provides excellent customer service, works well both independently and collaboratively, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This paid position runs from November 29, 2025 through the end of the NBA Season (April/May) with the potential to extend into the WNBA season, and reports to Jump’s Sr. Manager, Platform Specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ticketing system preparation and setup prior to games.

  • Organize ticket scanning equipment and materials for each event.

  • Support various roles on the Timberwolves and Lynx throughout game days, including:

    • Ticket scanners

    • Box office users

    • Concession stands

    • Parking

  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for game day operations, coordinating with remotely located Jump team members as needed to quickly identify and resolve ticketing issues, access problems, and customer inquiries in real time.

  • Assist with ticket scanner organization post-game.

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Ticket operations and/or event operations experience preferred

  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized

  • Desire and ability to work and communicate effectively with different audiences

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing responsibilities

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to multi-task effectively

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure

  • Availability for all Timberwolves home games, specifically hours on weeknights and weekends.Timberwolves schedule is here

  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lbs safely

Compensation:

Compensation is something we don’t want our candidates or employees to worry about. The core tenants of our compensation philosophy are fairness and transparency. The compensation for this role is $20 per hour. This is a part time, non-exempt role that is not eligible for benefits.
