UK - Accountant

The position:

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team on a fully remote position.

Key Duties as an Accountant:

Day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for UK entities.

Submit VAT returns and HMRC filings

Support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals

Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations

Analyze and explain OPEX fluctuations month over month, identifying key drivers and anomalies

Own and maintain the ICO matrix

Assist with audits and financial reporting to HQ

Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards

As an Accountant, you will need to have:

Part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA)

3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

Understanding of UK accounting standards and HMRC requirements

Advance Excel Skills

Experience with Accounting Software ( Netsuite is a plus)

Strong communication and organisational skills
