Position overview

We’re looking for a results-driven Key Account Manager to join our French sales team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role at the heart of our business, managing and expanding relationships with our most strategic national clients. This is a high-impact position where your expertise in relationship building, strategic planning, and operational coordination will directly influence client satisfaction, loyalty, and revenue growth.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional service delivery across temporary staffing while actively shaping the strategic direction of your accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management & Profitability
  • Guarantee the profitability and sustainable growth of your assigned portfolio (approx. €30-40M).
  • Understand client needs, anticipate future demands, and offer tailored staffing solutions to drive revenue.
  • Strategic Account Growth & Expansion
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts (new sites, new roles, expanded scopes).
  • Broaden service offerings and strengthen presence across client sites nationwide.
  • Leverage Job&Talent’s technology to deliver differentiated value, increase client spend, and reinforce our footprint across France.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Cultivate, manage, and strengthen long-term partnerships with strategic clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for decision-makers (HR, Operations, Executive teams), ensuring trust, satisfaction, and proactive support.
  • Cross-functional & Internal Coordination
  • Work closely with local branches and support functions (HR, Finance, Legal) to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all client sites.
  • Mobilize internal teams, facilitate effective communication and collaboration, and ensure process consistency, contractual compliance, operational excellence, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Monitoring Performance & Leading Business Reviews
  • Track key performance indicators to monitor account performance and lead monthly Business Reviews.
  • Deliver clear reporting, address urgent issues, and propose targeted solutions for clients.
  • Travel & Client Engagement
  • Travel across France to meet and engage with client stakeholders and expand our reach nationwide.
  • Reporting & Strategic Analysis
  • Provide regular updates on account performance, revenue forecasts, growth opportunities, risks, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
  • Recommend corrective or optimization measures to continuously improve service quality, costs, and delivery.
  • Market Insights
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and client developments to adapt strategies and strengthen client relationships.
  • You have

  • Proven ability to grow strategic accounts and navigate complex account structures.
  • Client-oriented and results-driven, with a proactive approach to uncovering and expanding business opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of staffing operations to build trust and strong partnerships with key client stakeholders (Operations, HR, Executive teams, etc.).
  • Strategic mindset with strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to implement effective processes.
  • A strong affinity for technology is highly valued and can be leveraged to drive client value.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 25%) and manage client relationships across multiple national locations.
