The
Software Project Manager will work with globally distributed development teams to lead and coordinate software development projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and quality objectives. This role bridges technical teams and stakeholders, driving collaboration and maintaining alignment with project goals and objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of software development methodologies and product development knowledge Responsibilities: Work with Product Management team to support features and requirements definitionFacilitate release planning, supporting development leads in the analysis and estimation of software features and product requirementsFacilitate regular product development scrums and agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure adherence to company software development processesEnsure development teams are aligned with project goals. Monitor progress, manage risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.Engage downstream teams such as documentation, NPI, training, solutions and field engineering to facilitate the software release processCollaborate with cross functional teams (hardware development, mechanicals, QA, homologations) and E2E project managers to define E2E project scope, milestone, objectives, and deliverablesSupport development and maintenance of detailed project plans, including timelines and resource allocationFacilitate JMA End to End product development process for new product releasesEstablish, Maintain and Monitor project metrics, dashboard and KPIs to improve planning and predictability of development teamsStandardize and keep track of project processes including but not limited to project documentation, risk management board, change control boards.Think forward, explore and recommend new tools, methodologies, and techniques to contribute and strengthen JMA development processes Qualifications: 4+ years of project management experience in managing software development projects within R&D organizations, for industrial application Solid understanding of software development life cycle and processesExpert knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit the project and environment.Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet or similar project planning toolsExperience with JIRA and ConfluenceExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels—from executive leadership to technical teams (developers, QA, and cross-functional partners). Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience working with international, distributed, cross-cultural teamsKnowledge of Git, GitHub and related flows is a plusPrevious hands-on software development experience is a plusKnowledge of DevSecOps principles and CI/CD processes is a plusPMP certification, Scrum Master CSM (Scrum Alliance), DA Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (PMI) certification and/or SAFe Agile Certifications are a plus Knowledge of RF systems, wireless communication protocols (e.g., LTE, 5G) and Telecommunications technologies is a plus Additional Information Learn more about our current opportunities on our career site!
