Java Test Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for cloud-based microservices
• Design automated tests using Java-based frameworks (JUnit, TestNG)
• Test microservices, APIs and backend with RestAssured or Karate
• Collaborate with engineers on cloud-native and on-prem Java/Spring Boot apps
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for cloud delivery
• Identify gaps and suggest improvements in testing approaches

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with Java and building automation frameworks for backend systems
• Experience with JUnit, TestNG, RestAssured or Karate
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservice architectures
• Experience with cloud-based environments (e.g. AWS) and distributed systems
• Solid knowledge of core Java fundamentals (OOP, collections, exception handling)
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
