We're looking for an energetic, competitive Director of Talent Acquisition who thrives in high-growth environments and knows how to lead teams to win talent in competitive markets. This role requires deep TA experience, proven experience leading managers, not just teams of individual contributors. You'll need to coach, develop, and elevate TA managers who are building and leading their own teams, ensuring consistent continuous improvement and delivery across their function as we grow.
What Impact We're Looking for You to Make
Lead TA managers and teams to achieve hiring targets and performance metrics through coaching, clear accountability structures, and continuous skill development that drives individual, team and business growth.
Establish clear operating rhythms, from capacity planning to pipeline health reviews, that drive consistent delivery, transparent communication, and aligned decision-making with executives and hiring leaders.
Treat our definition of "great talent" as something living, not fixed, by working with senior leadership to refine success profiles, adjust expectations over time, and keep us focused on hiring for impact, not just speed.
Build and lead employer branding initiatives that position Jane as an exceptional place to work and attract top talent.
Champion continuous improvement across tools, workflows, and candidate experience, testing ideas, sharing learnings, and creating delight for candidates and teams.
Lead our talent acquisition team and hiring practices through AI transformation, being a recognized leader for championing AI in your domain and implementing tools that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Partner with executives and Finance on headcount and workforce planning, ensuring TA strategy, hiring priorities, and business direction stay tightly aligned.
What Experience We Need
10+ years in Talent Acquisition with 3+ years leading managers and high-performing teams in high-growth environments.
Demonstrated experience navigating complex stakeholder groups across Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Support organizations, with deep understanding of how talent acquisition velocity and quality directly impact customers.
Track record of partnering with C-suite and executive teams on workforce planning, translating business strategy into talent priorities, and advising on organizational design.
You have a track record of designing and launching TA programs that have been successfully rolled out organization-wide, with measurable impact on hiring quality, speed, or efficiency.
You’re an ambassador for Talent Acquisition who can clearly represent the team’s perspective, influence senior leaders and teams across the business, keep them aligned on what’s happening, and champion the value of great hiring.
Experienced in building capacity planning models and operating rhythms that create hiring predictability, using data to track progress, uncover bottlenecks, and ensure talent acquisition directly supports business strategy.
Passionate about technology and AI, with examples of how you have leveraged tools to work smarter and improve systems for your teams and companies you've been a part of.

Compensation
At Jane, we're committed to paying fairly, clearly, and above all, paying for growth. This role has a base salary range of $168,000 to $273,000. Most new hires join at the Accomplished Growth Stage, which for this role represents a starting salary of $199,500. A starting salary below this typically indicates a candidate with strong potential who is growing into the role and still developing key skills. Salaries at the higher end usually apply to candidates who bring directly relevant experience or specialized expertise. As you grow in the role and contribute meaningfully to our mission, your compensation will grow with you through regular career development conversations.
