What you'll do at Jamf:
The Network Engineer II works cross-functionally with business units and IT teams to support, enhance, and maintain global enterprise network infrastructure. This role provides advanced troubleshooting and serves as an escalation point for Level I Network Engineers and Global Service Desk staff. The engineer contributes to the design and implementation of network solutions, leads or participates in technical projects, and helps ensure service levels and operational reliability across corporate and data center environments.
This role is offered as hybrid, with the expectation to work at Jamf's Eau Claire office location at least 3 days per week. We are only able to accept applications for those based near Eau Claire, WI area and available to work on-site.

What you can expect to do in this role:
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of moderately complex network infrastructure projects
- Maintain and troubleshoot corporate and datacenter networks, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, VXLAN, and security-related technologies
- Act as an escalation point for various internal teams with troubleshooting network-related issues
- Work with Cisco TAC, ISPs, or other outside parties to resolve escalated issues
- Assist with network security and compliance controls
- Use ITIL processes and procedures for change, incident, and problem management of all networking services
- Participate in supporting after-hours incidents and planned maintenance windows outside of normal working hours
- Create documentation and other supporting materials for network topology, support, and administrative actions
- Attend formal training, conduct self-paced training through online courses or on-the-job training, attend conferences, and engage with peers to maintain a broad understanding of technologies and keep abreast of new technologies
- Up to 20% travel required to support offices and data centers, both domestically and internationally.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 4 years professional experience in network infrastructure support and management (Required)
- Experience administering or supporting some or all of the following technologies is preferred:
- Cisco LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, VXLAN environments
- Cisco product lines such as Catalyst, Nexus, FTD, ISE, Meraki
- AWS networking and security
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt priorities quickly and effectively
- A high level of independence as demonstrated through clear problem-solving and communication skills, and the delivery of high-quality work
- Strong documentation skills
- Experience working in a compliance-driven or regulated environment

- 4 year / Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)certification (Required)

The below annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
