This role is offered as remote, with the expectationto bein the office in Katowice

The Software Engineeris responsible forbuilding the tools required to help organizations succeed with Apple. Lead others on the agile team to break down problems and apply theappropriate designsand practices to build core domain services in PaaS environment on top of infrastructure layer. Collaborate with other Engineers, ProductManagementand leadership to understand your team's priorities and how those help us solve company-wide problems.What you can expect to do in this role:
- Break down customer problems into work you and the team can execute on.
- Independently complete tasks from start to finish with high quality.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Use your knowledge of Engineering best practices to ask the right questions, solveproblemsand build great software witha high levelof quality.
- Produce designs for new and existing features.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts with others in the organization (Technical Communication, Support,Productand Cloud).
- Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values,missionand purpose of the organization.
- Adheres to the highest moral,ethicaland legal standards to deliverandenvironment that promotes respect,innovationand creativity.
- Supports and promotes a positive, inclusiveworkplaceone in which the talents and strengths of our increasingly diverse workforce are welcomed, furtherdevelopedand manifested in our work.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing enterprise grade software with understanding of testing and quality assurance processes.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in JVM application development.
- Experience with and knowledge ofJava+Springor Kotlin+Ktor.
- Experiencewith andknowledge of Microservices Architecture.
- Experiencewith andknowledge of NoSQL databases (DynamoDB ispreferred).
- ExperiencewithandknowledgeofKubernetesand AWSservices.
- Experience withIaaC(Terraformis preferred).
- ExperiencewithObservability-analysingandtakingactions(preferred-LokiorOpenSearch,JaegerorTempo, Prometheus,Grafana).
- Knowledge of Golangis an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Service Ownership and DevOps culture.
- Provide on-call support for services owned by the team, as part of a shared rotation schedule.
- Focus on software development best practices.
- Strongcommunication,analytical, andlisteningskills.
