IT Network Infrastructure Technician

📋 Description

• Install/terminate/test fiber, network, audio, video, RF cabling.
• Install/test audio, video, and RF equipment.
• Install cable pathways (trays, racks, J-hooks, D-rings).
• Install/terminate/test/backbone and horizontal cables.
• Build out telecom and equipment rooms.
• Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, drawings.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years installing, testing, and repairing fiber optics, copper cabling, network/telephony, and A/V.
• 3+ years raceway installation (conduit, cable trays, PVC).
• Knowledge of BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA; MM/SM fiber; Cat5e/6/6A; cable pathways.
• Knowledge of telecom network practices including security, architecture, standards, troubleshooting tools, TCP/IP.
• Experience with DC power, DC-DC converters, heat shrink, cable harnessing, strain relief.
• Experience operating site machinery (boom/fork lifts) and ability to travel.
• Ability to travel ~10-25% to other SpaceX locations.
