IT Network Infrastructure Technician

📋 Description

• Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and document fiber, RF, and voice/video cabling
• Install, test, and troubleshoot audio, video, and RF equipment
• Install cable pathway systems (trays, racks, J-hooks)
• Install, terminate, test, label, and document cables
• Build out telecom and equipment rooms
• Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, drawings

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years installing, testing, and repairing fiber optics, copper cabling, network/telephony, and AV systems
• 3+ years raceway/conduit and cable tray installation
• Knowledge of BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA; MM/SM fiber; Cat5e/6/6A; cable pathways
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes and multimeters; continuity testing
• Able to pass Air Force background checks; travel 10-25%
