IT Network Infrastructure Technician

📋 Description

• Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and document results for fiber, network, audio, video, and RF cabling
• Install, test, and troubleshoot audio, video, and RF equipment
• Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks or D-rings)
• Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, drawings, manuals
• Build out telecommunication and equipment rooms
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot failures from test data

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 2+ years installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing fiber optics, copper cabling, RF, Ethernet, and A/V systems
• 3+ years raceway installation (conduit, cable tray, PVC)
• Knowledge of BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA; MM/SM fiber; Cat5e/6/6A; cable pathways
• IP and HD-SDI video cameras and infrastructure experience
• Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg
