📋 Description

• Serve as internal copyright expert across research, product, litigation, and policy stakeholders.
• Advise in-house teams on copyright for model development, product, and litigation.
• Provide day-to-day copyright guidance to product, engineering, and safety teams on features.
• Monitor and translate US and international copyright developments to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate on Anthropic's global copyright strategy, monitoring developments.
• Engage with academics, industry groups to develop norms and best practices around copyright and AI.

🎯 Requirements

• JD and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state (CA preferred).
• Expertise in U.S. copyright law for emerging tech; knowledge of international frameworks.
• Creative problem-solving with ability to translate complex concepts for technical teams.
• Track record of thriving in fast-paced environments, wearing multiple hats.
• Exceptional communication with cross-functional teams, especially technical and policy stakeholders.
• 10+ years’ copyright experience advising on tech/AI; in-house preferred.
