Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Demand Generation Marketing Manager to drive pipeline growth for our payment and billing technology solutions targeted to government agencies and utility billers. In this role, you will build and execute full-funnel marketing programs that increase awareness, generate qualified leads, and support sales engagement with public sector and utility organizations.

The ideal candidate understands the complexities of government procurement, utility billing processes, ratepayer expectations, and the unique compliance and security requirements surrounding public-sector payments. You excel at crafting strategic, data-driven demand generation campaigns that resonate with decision makers in finance, customer service, billing, and IT.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Implement account-based marketing (ABM) programs to reach high-value carriers and decision-making units.

  • Manage nurture flows and lifecycle campaigns to support long, complex enterprise sales cycles.

  • Support development of webinars, whitepapers, calculators/tools, case studies, and solution briefs that highlight payment innovation in thegovernment and utilitybillersspace.

  • Own marketing automation setup, segmentation, list management, and campaign workflows (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar).

  • Leverage ABM platforms (e.g.,Demandbase, 6sense, Terminus) and intent data to target andengageideal accounts.

  • Track KPIs including MQL/SQL volume, pipeline contribution, campaign performance, and ROI.

  • Support industry events and conferences with pre- and post-event demand generation activities.

Key Skills

  • 2–3+years experiencein B2B demand generation, ideally within payments, fintech, billing, or SaaS.

  • Experience marketing to

    government, municipal utilities, or public-sector organizations

    strongly preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM systems (Salesforce), ABM tools, and digital campaign platforms.

  • Strong analytical skills withanability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex value propositions.

  • Help translate complex payment, billing, and compliance topics—PCI, NACHA rules, security, digital adoption—into clearmessaging forratepayer-facing organizations.

  • Familiarity with enterprise buyer groups and multi-stakeholder buying processes.
