Position Summary

Invoice Cloud is a rapidly growing SaaS company delivering industry-leading customer engagement, e-billing, and payment solutions. Our platform serves thousands of businesses and millions of customers, processing hundreds of millions of transactions annually.

InvoiceCloud is seeking an experienced and strategicDirector of Financeto lead, establish and scale the India Finance function as a core part of our global finance organization. The Director of Finance will oversee all finance operations, statutory compliance, shared service delivery, and cross-border collaboration with our U.S. headquarters.

The ideal candidate will bring strong financial leadership, an understanding of global finance operations, and the ability to transform the India GCC into a center of excellence for finance services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leadership & Governance
  • Lead the end-to-end finance operations of InvoiceCloud India, includingaccounting, FP&A, audit, payroll, tax, and compliance.
  • Serve as theprimary finance leader in India, reporting to theGlobal CFOand collaborating closely with U.S. finance teams.
  • Establish and enforce robustgovernance frameworks, financial controls, and process standards in line with corporate policies.
  • Overseehiring, performance appraisals, and expense approvalsfor the India finance team.
  1. Financial Operations
  • OverseeAccounting and Accounts Payable (AP)processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger integrity.
  • ManageFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting support for global stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timelystatutory and tax compliancewith Indian regulations.
  • Partner with theGlobal Controller, CAO, and CFOon financial reporting and audit support.
  1. Shared Services & Global Collaboration
  • Build and lead theGlobal Finance Shared Servicesteam in India, supporting:
    • Technical accounting and board reporting.
    • Global FP&A, AP, and commissions processes.
    • Global revenue accounting and analysis.
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across global finance operations.
  • Act as a bridge between U.S. and India finance functions, ensuring consistent service delivery and communication.
  1. Strategy & Transformation
  • Develop amulti-phase growth roadmapfor the India GCC—evolving from transactional finance to analytical and strategic functions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency throughtechnology, analytics, and process automation.
  • Support the creation of aFinance Center of Excellence (CoE)for global operations from India.
  • Advise executive leadership on long-term financial strategies, operational performance, and risk mitigation.

Key Deliverables

  • A high-performing India finance team aligned with global standards.
  • On-time, accurate monthly close and reporting across all entities.
  • Scalable shared services processes supporting global finance operations.
  • Compliance with statutory, audit, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Continuous improvement and automation of finance workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

  • CA / CPA / MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification.
  • 15+ yearsof progressive experience in corporate finance, with at least5 years in a leadership rolewithin a multinational or GCC environment.
  • Proven expertise infinance operations, FP&A, statutory compliance, and team leadership.
  • Deep understanding ofIndian GAAP, U.S. GAAP, and global reporting standards.
  • Strong track record inbuilding and scaling shared service centersor finance transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills.
