We’re looking for a UI Designer with strong UI design skills and hands-on experience working with design systems. In this role, you'll lead the creation, contribute to and maintain a scalable, high-quality system in close partnership with our engineering team, supported by the product design team. Your work will ensure consistency, usability, and visual excellence across our learning platforms. The ideal candidate is fluent in modern UI patterns, passionate about scalable design systems, and is able to strike a balance between functional and aesthetic designs.

• Design system ownership: Evolve and document our Figma-based component library, tokens, and style guidelines to drive visual consistency at scale. Understand the requirements from stakeholders and lead the team in building a design system for internal learning platforms and marketing sites.
• High-fidelity UI design: Create responsive layouts, interaction states, and micro-animations that balance usability and aesthetics.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and content teams to translate requirements into elegant UI solutions. 
• User research & validation: Plan and execute basic usability testing, heuristic reviews, and rapid prototypes to iterate on decisions.
• Accessibility & standards: Champion WCAG-compliant practices and maintain pixel-perfect specs for seamless hand-offs to development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field—or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years as a product/UI designer with a portfolio highlighting design-system contributions and UI contributions to live projects.
• Expertise in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, interactive prototypes) and familiarity with Sketch or Adobe CC.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining or extending a design system across multiple products or brands.
• Comfort conducting basic user research and translating insights into iterative UI improvements.
• Working knowledge of accessibility guidelines, responsive design, and hand-off documentation for engineering teams.
• Clear, concise communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
