📋 Description

• Advise stakeholders on multinational financial laws to expand Toast payments internationally
• Draft and negotiate partnerships and contracts with banks, processors, networks, and merchants
• Research and answer regulatory questions about financial products across geographies
• Represent Legal on cross-functional teams to design compliant financial products and resolve issues
• Review advertising materials for legal/compliance and guide Marketing stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• ABA-accredited law degree or equivalent to practice in-house
• 5+ years advising corporate clients on international financial products
• Experience with financial services regs in UK, Ireland, Canada, or Australia
• Experience negotiating/commercial agreements and consumer terms in financial services
• Strong knowledge of banking, consumer protection, money flows, and card network rules
• Payments-space expertise and banking product experience
