📋 Description

  • Develops, modifies, and reviews drawings of systems or components per standards.
  • Creates plans, specs, and inspection reports for assigned tasks per professional standards.
  • Assists in resolving design problems, including field investigations, detailed design, coordination, and communicating with team.
  • Identifies applicable codes and standards to reference in inquiries.
  • Conducts and documents building code analyses, egress analyses, and fire system reviews (hydraulics).
  • Performs basic calculations for egress, building area, sprinkler water supply, and smoke control.

🎯 Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles or construction technology and practices.
  • Read and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and regulations.
  • Intermediate written and verbal communication to write reports and respond to questions.
  • Solve practical problems with concrete variables in less standardized situations.
  • Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Self-starter with problem solving and reasoning skills.
  • Proficient with PC: email, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, multitasking.
