Intermediate Backend Engineer, SSCS: Supply Chain

📋 Description

• Implement backend features for Add-On supply chain security
• Build integrations between Add-On and GitLab's SCAN infrastructure to surface findings in merge requests
• Write and maintain automated tests (RSpec and integration tests)
• Work across multiple feature areas as priorities evolve
• Participate in code reviews with thoughtful, actionable feedback
• Write internal docs for features and behavior

🎯 Requirements

• Backend development experience delivering maintainable production code
• Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL fundamentals
• Go familiarity or willingness to learn
• Strong testing discipline (RSpec or equivalent)
• Clear written communication with distributed teammates
• Interest in software supply chain security and DevSecOps
