📋 Description

• Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits for patients.
• Call insurers to confirm coverage and resolve pre-authorizations/claims.
• Be the point of contact for questions about coverage, copays, and billing.
• Manage and track pre-authorizations for clinical services.
• Support patients and other teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years of health care billing experience.
• 2-4 years experience with EHR/PM Systems such as Athena.
• 1-3 years experience in a customer service setting.
• Experience with eligibility verification and benefits determination.
• Familiarity with securing prior authorizations and referrals.
• Knowledge of medical billing and insurance terminology.
