Instrumentation and Controls Technician (Fixed-Term)

📋 Description

• Build and maintain test facility incl. EGSE, wire harnesses, and I&C boxes
• Work with engineers to build, test, and maintain electrical systems on rocket engines and test stands
• Perform cold flows, hot fire tests, and other hazardous operations
• Troubleshoot, install, calibrate instruments (transmitters, meters, thermocouples, RTDs)
• Operate PLCs, NI hardware, oscilloscopes, data analyzers, and DMMs
• Fabricate wire harnesses per IPC-620 standards

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years aerospace or industrial I&C experience
• 2+ years experience with electronics equipment (e.g., power supplies, DMMs, oscilloscopes)
• Read and interpret P&IDs
• Experience with 4-20mA loop devices
• Qualifications in NASA STD 8739.4 or IPC-620 or J-STD-001
